And pray, you'll go to Heaven." **************************************************** Ah, how simple, no struggle in this, Just a word, and simple act. Thereafter I'm absorbed in this world again, With my 'assured' place in Paradise intact. ***************************************************** But this was not to be my fate For ALLAH chose to guide my heart. I learnt of a man who struggled so hard When his mission was from the start. ****************************************************** The story of someone who had morals, Spoke gently, kindness he knew. Never fearing to say what's right, His conviction in ISLAM was true. ****************************************************** The touch of his hand was as soft as silk To comfort a crying child. To mend his clothes, or do the chores, Never complaining, he always smiled. ****************************************************** A living he made with his bare hands, The same that held his mighty sword. Valour shone from the edge of his blade, ****************************************************** His smell was always of musk, And cleanliness he kept at his best. Stark contrast with the heroes of today, Who stink of beer and sweat. ****************************************************** He held the hands of his companions. Unashamed to play with many children. So modest, so humble, a perfect example, That strangers could not recognise him. ****************************************************** His eyes slept little for nights were precious, His prayers he treasured much greater. To pray Tahajjud in the depths of night, Seeking forgiveness, and nearness to his Creator. ****************************************************** He broke his tooth for me at Uhud, And bled for me at Ta'if. He cried for me, tears of concern, Just so I could have this belief. ****************************************************** His enemies admired his teachings, Uniting every religion, every clan. Till ISLAM came to every corner of the world, O, but indeed he was only a man. ****************************************************** To own a house, or build his wealth Was not his main priority. To establish ISLAM was more essential, To bring us under a Higher Authority. ****************************************************** Don't you want him to plea for your case, When before ALLAH-The Judge-you stand? Don't you wish to be around his fountain, A burning desire to drink from his hand? ****************************************************** So I love him more than all creation, My Leader, my Humble Prophet. Muhammad (SAWS) was a mercy to all mankind, And to me, he is ************ MY BELOVED ! ************

(1) Recognizing the bounties Allah 
has bestowed upon His slaves. These bounties [are so many that they] cannot be counted or enumerated. [Allah says:]

Hearts naturally have love for those who do good to them. Love for a blessing is from the general aspects of thanking the one who has bestowed a bounty. It is said that thanks is with the heart, tongue and limbs.
(2) Another cause is to have knowledge of Allah by His Names, Attributes and Actions. The one who knows Allah , loves Him. Whoever loves Him, obeys Him. Whoever obeys Allah is honored by Him. Whoever Allah honors, He will have him live close to Him. Whoever lives close to Him, has attained the glad tidings.

(3) One of the great causes [that leads to having love of Allah ] is the specific knowledge that comes about through pondering over the creation of the heavens and the earth and what Allah has created. In the Qur’an, there is much mention of the signs of Allah that indicate His Greatness, Power, Majesty, Perfection, Eminence, Compassion, Mercy, Strength, Subjugation and other of His beautiful Names and exalted Attributes. Whenever one’s knowledge of Allah is strengthened, one’s love for Him is also strengthened and one’s love for obeying Him is also strengthened. He will then experience the pleasure of worship, whether it be in prayer, remembrance or other forms of worship.

(5) One of the greatest causes that bring about one’s love for Allah is increasing one’s remembrance of Allah . Whenever a person loves something, he remembers it more often. And it is through the remembrance of Allah that the hearts find tranquillity. In fact, one of the signs of having love for Allah is the constant remembrance of Allah by one’s heart and tongue.

(7) Another of the causes of love for Allah is remembering what has been mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah concerning the believers seeing their Lord in the Hereafter and visiting them and gathering together on the Day of Abundance. That will definitely bring about in a person love for Allah .

We are currently trying to raise money to build a Masjid in our community.

A brief intro to this project:
Can you picture your children or loved ones growing up in an environment with fornication, rape, murder, swearing, disobedience, vandalism, and drugs?
Surely, it is hard for any parent to raise their children in such an environment, especially if you are a Muslim. Unfortunately, thousands of Muslim children are growing up in such an environment in Fordham Road area, located in Bronx, New York.
However, Alhamdulillah, a few dedicated members of the community sat down and came up with a perfect solution, which is to build a Masjid and an Islamic Center. This non-profit institution will be known as Bronx Muslim Center USA Inc.
The main purpose of this organization will be to create an Islamic environment for our community by providing them with a place to establish daily prayers, gain an Islamic Education an also to hold activities, halaqas and events like Eid for the whole community, young and old, to benefit from.
This can only be possible with the help of Allah (SWT)and us. Insha’Allah , if WE all work together, we can bring our children back to Islam and help them lead an Islamic way of life. And, this is the GREATEST gift we can give our children in this world and the hereafter.

Shubrumah said, “We accompanied Karz al Harithi on a journey. Whenever he wanted to set camp in an area, he used to scan it with his eyes and when he found a good piece of land that he liked, he would go to it and pray there until it was time to leave.” [Sifat as Safwah 3/120]
One thing I have learned is the importance of the heart. Your children will want it, your parents want it, your friends want it, and your other half will want it and so does the dunya. But until you give it willingly to Allah, then that is La ilaha ilalAllah.
